Maybe Ohio isn't that bad

I will be traveling with Teal to all of the parks.  For those of you who haven't met her, here's a picture.

Ready to head out

I was waiting for a last minute package to arrive, and then we started the trip around noon.  The first park on the list is Indiana Dunes National Park.  A few hours of driving later and we were there.  It reminded me of Sleeper State Park in Caseville, but with bigger dunes; not as big as Silver Lake though.

Indiana Dunes National Park

After a walk along the beach and on the dunes, we left for Cuyahoga National Park in Ohio.  We took a few hours and made it back through Indiana and halfway through Ohio before calling it for the night.

In the morning, banana bread was on the menu for breakfast and I drove the last 2 hours to Cuyahoga.  One of the most popular attractions is a rather large waterfall, probably bigger than Tahquamenon.  There are also some sandstone ledges about 30 feet tall that I hiked around.

There was a crazy car with a bunch of rubber ducks in the parking lot too.

I'm on my way to New York City now, about halfway through Pensylvania, writing this in a McDonald's.
